And don't expect them to because they can't possibly.
Chronic pain, all pain is perception. Therefore it's unrealistic to expect someone to know how you feel even someone else with chronic pain. We all perceive it differently. It affects us all differently.
This makes living with chronic pain extremely difficult emotionally because we want so desperately for someone, anyone to know how we feel!!! If they could just understand! Our family, our friends, even our doctors are clueless, making our actions, such as staying in bed when they think we should go out, endlessly frustrating for both people.
Regardless of what they think, you must accept that you're doing the best you can and love yourself enough to not be critical and reject any criticism that may come your way from others. Just tell them to walk a mile in your shoes, or live a month in your body! Or better yet, just leave it alone! Forgive them because they know not of which they speak!!!
Wishing you peace!
